Me Me Me Flawless Pressed Face Powder in Natural Review and Swatch

Me Me Me is a UK based drugstore brand which is not very common at the moment. Today I am going to review one of their face powder which is a flawless pressed face powder.

Me Me Me Flawless Face Powder in Natural
Me Me Me flawless pressed face powder comes in a beautiful thin black packaging with a good size mirror, which makes it travel friendly.  This powder feels beautiful on the skin, it gives a great silky matte effect.  The formulation is a bit powdery, but that's  completely okay because it glides on the skin smoothly and it is easy to blend.

Me Me Me Flawless Face Powder in Natural with Sponge
I have been using it since quite a long time now, as you can see from the packaging and the quantity left in pan. I like to dust it on my face just to set my foundation and BB Cream. Sometimes I use it on its own without any foundation and it really works well on my naked skin by giving a sheer finish.  It really gives  flawless result, I found it also helped to keep my makeup fresh through out the day.

The negative point for me is the range of shades, it comes only in two shades ' Translucent ' and ' Natural '. I have one in ‘Natural’ which is a bit light for my skintone but it works and applies well on me. Another negative thing is that it comes with a sponge.....a very thin sponge, the thinnest sponge I have ever seen! seriously! It is a waste and never worked for me, I use my another powder brush for its application.
I recommend this to everyone, but most especially to those who doesn't need additional coverage.

PROS

Silky texture.
Gives matte effect.
Easy to blend.
Affordable.
Beautiful packaging.
Has a good size mirror.
Travel friendly.
No fall outs.

CONS

Useless thinnest sponge.
Only two shades in range.
Light coverage.
Availability in Pakistan.

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Today I decided to review an eyeshadow palette from MUA (Makeup Academy). The palette which i choose for review is MUA's best selling Undressed eyeshadow palette. The reason why this palette is so famous because it is very affordable, it has beautiful range of shimmery to matte neutral colours and the biggest reason is that it's a dupe for high end brand Urban Decay Naked Palette. I don't have Urban Decay Naked palette so i can't compare them to show the exact difference.

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette
MUA's Undressed eyeshadow palette comes in a flimsy plastic packaging but very light in weight and due to its sleek packaging its easy to carry. It comes with a dual sided sponge applicator and has 12 round eyeshadows. The overall quality of this palette is amazing. The shadows are all named as Shade 1, Shade 2….etc which is a MUA trait.

The quality of shimmery shadows are really nice, they are creamy with a buttery texture that applies and blends easily. However, the matte shadows are a bit chalky, their color pigmentation is not good and they are also a little difficult to blend. I found Shade 3 and 5 which are matte colors very difficult to swatch, even after applying several times to my wrist, there was still hardly any color on my skin. They do have some bad fall outs.

The shimmery shadows are highly pigmented and they show well even without an eye primer though definitely you compromise a little on lasting power then. They stay all day on my eyes with primer, only fading a tiny bit at the end. MUA has also launched an eyeshadow palette called Undress Me Too, which also contains 12 neutral shades and that's a dupe for Urban Decay Naked Palette 2.

Undressed Eyeshadow Palette is priced at just £4 and is available at MUA's website. In Pakistan you can also get it online from just4girls.pk .

PROS

Super affordable
Highly pigmented shimmery colors
Amazing quality
Good staying power
Beautiful range of nude colors
Combination of mattes and shimmers
Travel Friendly

CONS

Flimsy packaging
Bad fall outs
Bad pigmentation of matte colors

Sleek True Color Lipstick Barely There

Hello Beauties! Hope you all are enjoying the cold weather with hot soups while sitting in blankets :) Today I am going to review a lip product from Sleek's True Color Lipstick range in the shade Barely There.

Sleek True Color Lipstick in Barely There
Barely There is a gorgeous light pink shade with a hint of orange, its a beautiful colorThe packaging is  compact, matte black of rubbery type material and the shape is really nice, its just off 'round' being slightly oval.

Sleek Ture Color Lipstick in Barely There (Right without flash Left with flash)

The quality is fantastic with the sheen finish which gives the lips a lovely shine without being over glossy and great for everyday wear. The color is opaque so you don't really need to layer it. It is highly pigmented  and long lasting, can last for about 4 to 5 hours without any eating. It is quite moisturizing does not dry out my lips even when the color is gone, my lips still feel moisturized and it does not enhance lines or dry patches.

Sleek True Color Lipstick in Barely There
I would recommend it as it is affordable with a great quality and long lasting ability. You can find Sleek lipsticks online on Sleek's website for £4.99 and they ship worldwide.

E.L.F Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls Review and Swatches

Hello ladies! I hope everyone is doing well. Today i will be reviewing my all time favorite highlighter from E.L.F. It is a very affordable makeup brand that stands for Eyes Lips Face, which you can find in drugstores internationally but in Pakistan you can get it online only. The highlighter I selected for review is Moonlight Pearls which is a baked highlighter.

E.L.F Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls
Moonlight pearls highlighter has plastic packaging which looks very cheap, flimsy and is not travel friendly as baked products are very fragile to carry with such flimsy packaging. It is a light cream color highlighter which has a beautiful champagne sheen and domed shape which all baked products have.

There is no pink color and glitter in it which gives a nice sheen without being glittery. It has good pigmentation. It is easy to build up instead of picking up too much product in the first time. The E.L.F. website also says that you can use it wet for more intensity in color. It contains decent amount of product.  Like other baked powders, it has a dried texture, but this is still smooth. It blends easily. Another issue is the fallout in pan when trying to pick up with a brush so it does have a tendency to get messy in packaging but even that is not too much.

I wear highlighter on my cheekbones, down my nose and anywhere I want a healthy glow. One swipe through this product with my brush and one swipe on the skin and it gives a perfect glow to my face without being overly shiny. It gives you that nice natural glow but is not overwhelming.  It makes me look healthy and happy :)

I would definitely recommend it, as it is very affordable with decent pigmentation and good quality product.

Pros

Product pick up is decent.
Good pigmentation.
Affordable.
Easy to blend.
No glitter.
Easy to build color.
More of sheen than shimmer.
Can also be used wet for more intensity.

Cons

Some fallout in pan.
Hard surface.
Cheap plastic packaging which is not travel friendly.

Coastal Scents 6 Contour and Blush Palette Review and Swatches

I saw this 6 Contour and Blush Palette from Coastal Scents on youtube by some of my favorite makeup artists during many tutorials and I really wanted to get it. You know that feeling when you see something that you really want to have, but you resist because you already have a lot. You ignore it and move on. But when you keep seeing it again and again and again, then something inside you keep forcing to get it and just won't leave you alone until you get that thing. So finally I bought it and now I have been using it  for the last two weeks with a big satisfaction.

The packaging of this palette is matte black in color which is quite sleek, sturdy and beautiful. I bought this palette for its beautiful variety of colors . It is quite versatile as it has all face, blush, contouring and highlighting powders in one palette. All of these powders are 100% matte and are quite pigmented. All of the colors can also be used as eye shadows. It has 6 different color powders in it , 1 dark brown contouring powder, 1 white highlighting powder, 2 face powders one is light pink and one is skin tone color and 2 beautiful bright pink blush colors.

The dark brown contouring powder is not as scary on skin, as it looks in palette if used with a light hand and is actually very easy to blend. I am not so much into contouring but I am learning the technique to use the contouring powder. The white highlighting powder is also great. You can make it as intense or subtle as you want. I use it as highlighter on the top of my cheekbones and in the inner corner of eyes. The two pink blushes look beautiful on my skin color and would look beautiful on a ton of different skin tones. Here are swatches of all colors with and without flash.
