MUA Extreme Felt Tip Eyeliner Review

I was looking for an affordable pen eyeliner for a long time, then i got MUA Extreme Felt Tip Eyeliner. I do not like lead pencils because they are not water proof and they smudge. The packaging of MUA Extreme Felt Eyeliner is black in color, made of plastic, very light and sleek. With the felt tip it is easy to make both thin and thick lines as required. The cap closes with a lock and air tight, so never worry about carrying it in purse.

MUA Extreme Felt Eyeliner is easy to apply and you can create flicks, wings, straight and neat lines with it efficiently. It dries up super fast to give a matte finish  It does not flake after application neither smudges. Its staying power is good for the price, it stays for almost 3 to 4 hours on eyelids without smudging, but the color fades after 2 hours of application. It feels very light on eyelids. It is not a waterproof eyeliner but water splashes and sweat can not remove it until you rub your eyes hardly.

This is like a marker pen, so this is very helpful in creating winged looks because felt tip is really firm but still moveable, so easily creates flicks on corners. The downside of this eyeliner is the less pigmentation, it seems rather grey when applied. Multiple applications are required to create a nice pigmented line because of the not-so-good pigmentation. I like my eyeliners to be well pigmented and dark black. I would recommend this to the beginners who feels difficulty in getting a perfect and winged liner, so this is the best affordable way to make your winged eyeliner perfect.

Pros

Affordable
Travel friendly and beautiful packaging
Dries up super fast to matte finish
Staying power is good for the price
Easy application
Does not smudge until rub hardly
Helpful in winged eye looks and flicks
Lasts for more than a month

Cons

Color is grey but not jet black
Fades after 2 hours
Pigmentation is average
Consistency is a bit watery in start

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush in Rose The or Rose Tea Review and Swatch

Here is another review of my favorite makeup product which is a blusher and this time it is from Bourjois. The blusher which i am going to review today is from the Bourjois's range Little Round Pot in Rose The or Rose Tea . I bought it without reading any review or looking at swatches because I am a huge fan of cute packaging.

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush in Rose Tea

These cute little pots are color coordinated to match the blusher's shade inside the pot. They come with a tiny curved brush and a mirror in the lid which makes them great for travel or applying on the go. These little round pot blushers have a baked texture and I find these blushers difficult to work with. It is not a kind of a blusher with which I only need to touch my brush to work with, I really have to work a lot to pick up the product with my own brush not with the brush which comes along the pot. Once it is on the brush it applies nicely on skin with a light hand.

Rose The is a soft mauve shade which can be used either on apples or for contouring as it is a little deep color and it lasts well throughout the day. I really like the way it looks on me and I think it would work for most skin tones. The finish of this shade is matte but add a soft glow to my face. This pot will last for ages as it has a large amount of product. I would recommend this to makeup lovers on a budget or if you are new to makeup.

Good staying power.

Can give clown cheeks if used heavily.
 Brush is a waste.
Baked blushers might harden with time.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 Review

Today, I have selected a skin care product from The Body Shop for a review and it’s a moisturiser from their Vitamin C range. The Body Shop is a company which makes all their products with natural ingredientsI have used a lot of moisturisers and have come to a conclusion that some of them are good for oily skin and some are good for the dry skin. I bought this moisturiser with very high expectations and hopes. So far, it has done pretty well in my expectations.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

The Body Shop Vitamin C Daily Moisturiser SPF 30 has a flip top cap and it has travel-friendly packagingThe moisturiser is white in color and is rich in texture. Once when spread across the face it gives light feel and gets absorbed quicklyIt has a strong citric fragrance which can be a negative for the fragrance allergic people. It contains SPF 30 that protect my skin from harmful rays of sun. The cream does a good job in keeping the skin moist and hydrated. The moisturiser keeps my skin moisturisedsoft and nourished for 3-4 hours. Maybe during winters this will pass with flying colors. But this is definitely not for summers.

The only thing which I don't like about this product is that it gives me a slight burning sensation for a few seconds after application but it finishes in just few seconds though. I have not noticed any radiance in my skin even after one month of using the moisturiser as it claims. I would definitely recommend this product to those with normal to dry skin as it keeps the skin hydrated for many hours. For those with oily to super oily skin, this product can make you look greasy so I would suggest to stay away from this.

Pros

Cream is light, gets easily absorbed
Contains high amount of vitamin C
Quite moisturising in nature
Keeps hygiene
Travel-friendly
Contains SPF 30
Little goes a long way
Great for normal to dry skin

Cons

Gives a slight burning sensation
Strong citric fragrance
Price is on the higher side
Not suitable for oily skin

Sleek Blush By 3 in Lace Review and Swatches

Other than highlighters, my favorite makeup product is blusher. I am not a fan of foundation and I used to wear makeup on bare skin or simply after applying moisturizer. I came to realize few years ago that blusher has the power to transform your whole face. A little color on the cheeks can make your skin look healthier and your complexion glow. Today, the product which i have selected for reviewing is Sleek Blush by 3 in Lace.

Sleek Blush by 3 Palette in Lace

Sleek Blush by 3 Lace is a trio shade blush palette, this palette has 3 highly pigmented shades from matte to shimmer. You can use matte shade for subtle look or can add a glamour by putting shimmer over the top of matte shade. When I saw reviews for the Sleek Blush By 3 in Lace palette, I thought it would be the perfect budget-friendly way to expand my blush collection. This palette has three different colors, one is shimmery and others are matte. Matte shades are named as Crochet which is a peachy orange and Chantilly which is a deep coral pink. The shimmery shade is named as Guipure which is a shimmery rose gold color.

Sleek Blush by 3 Palette in Lace Swatches Blended

Quality-wise, Crochet and Chantilly are more chalky and powdery but the Guipure has more silky and smooth texture. Crochet and Chantilly both look quite intense in the palette, on the skin these are easy to build up subtly. Guipure is the most ‘safest’ shade of the trio, as the rose gold color and shimmery finish would look pretty on any skin tone and give a healthy glowing look.
The palette comes with a mirror and the packaging is very sleek, compact and fitting perfectly into my makeup bag. You can choose your own choice of shades as there are seven more combinations in the range. You can order it online on Sleek's website as they ship worldwide and its price is £10.00I would definitely recommend the Blush by 3 Lace palette to everyone!

Pros

Affordable
Great quality
Light and compact packaging
Highly pigmented
Staying power 5 to 6 hours
Little goes a long way

CONS

 Packaging gets dirty easily.
Matte shades are little hard to blend.
