MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush in shade SPRY

I am a big fan of MUA’s makeup range and I love cream blushes as well. The MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet Blushes are described as being an ultra-soft blush with a lightweight formulation.

MUA LUXE Whipped Velvet Blush in SPRY
The blush is packaged within a small, circular plastic pot and contains 4g of product. Spry is a pretty dusky pink shade which I choose as I thought it’d be the most wearable shade. They have a really gorgeous velvety smooth texture and apply easily onto the skin. It has a very light-airy consistency, which feels a bit odd when you first dig your finger in it, but when applied they blend in like a dream.
I always apply cream blush with my fingertips but a brush (synthetic) works equally as well. They are lightweight on the skin, and you can have these blushes really sheer and natural or build them up to get a brighter pop of colour ; don't be put off by how bright they look in the pan, they really don't go on that vivid!  It's definitely following the foot steps of the latest trend of cream to powder consistency, though I'm a bit skeptical of the lasting power, as color fades away and rubs off easily. But there is nothing a good primer underneath and a powder touch-up can't help.

They come in 5 different shades but I only own Spry.

PROS

Velvety texture
Easy to blend
Nice packaging
Affordable
Travel Friendly
Pretty colour range

CONS

Staying power not good
Rubs off easily
Pigmentation is less

MUA Sweet Sheen Lip Balms

MUA have launched some gorgeous new products including Sweet Sheen lip balm collection. These are just amazing stuff , they add quite a good color to your lips and also moisturize them at the same time. They come in 6 pretty shades which go from a dark red to a baby pink.

MUA Sweet Sheen Lip Balms (Left to Right - 1.French Violet 2. Peach Dream 3. Rouge Rumba)

I have 3 of them Rouge Rumba, French Violet and Peach Dream. They all give quite a good color to the lips. When I first went to try these I thought the color would be very subtle and you wouldn't really see it all, but I was so wrong and absolutely loved the color that they gave, as well as the soft texture. The colors can be built up – but don’t expect the colors to be bold. They feel very comfortable on the lips and they have a light sweet vanilla scent which I like.

MUA Sweet Sheen Lip Balms (Left to Right - 1.French Violet 2. Peach Dream 3. Rouge Rumba)

My favorite shades are Rouge Rumba which is a berry red shade and French Violet which is a gorgeous lilac shade. These tinted lip balms make perfect effortless daytime lip colors, subtle but pretty. I like the packaging too and think it is very functional, its nice to have a tinted lipbalm in a twist up bullet like a lipstick.

SWATCHES : Left to Right - 1.Rouge Rumba 2. Peach Dream 3. French Violet

You can get them online from Makeup Academy for £2 each only. These are extremely great value and highly recommended. Unfortunately they are not available in Pakistan.

MakeUp Revolution Radiant Lights Highlighter Palette

Hey beautifuls! Hope you all are doing good. Today I am going to review a highlighter palette from Makeup Revolution. I have been wanting to try the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette for quite a while now, but the price never allowed me to get it! But then I saw the Makeup Revolution Radiance Radiant Lights Palette and it looked like a dupe, so I bought it.

Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights Palette

Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights Palette

No sooner had it popped through my door, I opened it and instantly fell in love! This is widely speculated to be a dupe for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette. I don't personally own the Hourglass palette so I can't judge and compare

Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights Palette
The palette is typical of Makeup Revolution - black plastic but sturdy. Inside, you get a large mirror and three decent sized pots of highlighter.  There are 3 shades: Breathe - a champagne toned shimmery highlighter , Exhale - a gorgeous shimmery highlighter  and Glow - a shimmery golden glow. Not to mention that this palette is a great buy on it's own because the shades are beautiful, especially Breathe.

Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights Palette (1-Breathe, 2-Exhale, 3-Glow)

The Radiant Lights Highlighter Palette is of amazing quality. The powders are finely milled and apply like a dream. There are no chunky bits of glitter and the finish is just a very natural "glow from within" radiant look to the skin means the product doesn't sit in your pores. If you have been wanting to try the Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette for as long as I have, I am telling you, this will satisfy the craving.

Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights  Palette Swatches

I would definitely recommend it if you want a subtle glow on the skin. I am sure you will love it.

AVAILABILITY

The Radiant Lights highlighter palette retails at just £8 and can be purchased online at MakeUp Revolution.

PROS

Super affordable
Decent pigmentation
Amazing quality
Blends easily
Three shades of highlighters in one palette
Good staying power
Doesn't emphasize pores or any imperfection
Exact dupe for Hourglass ambient lighting palette

CONS

Fall Out in Pan
The shade Breathe is not as pigmented as others

I Heart Makeup Triple Baked Blush and Highlighters Review and Swatches

Its Makeup Revolution Review time and I have to tell you about the amazing goodies that I have been playing around with lately. For those of you who have not heard of Makeup Revolution, it was launched back in March 2014 and its a British Brand.

I Heart Makeup Triple Baked Blush and Highlighters

Let me introduce you to the blushes from I Heart Makeup which are named as Blushing Hearts and the highlighter shades are named as Goddess of Love.  These are a dupe for Too Faced's Sweethearts blush. The packaging is super adorable. Each of the heart is made of cardboard, so be careful if you are keeping these in your make up bag as they might get a little bit damaged around the edges.

I Heart Makeup Triple Baked Blush and Highlighters

Today I am gonna review blusher in
Candy Queen of Hearts, highlighters in Goddess of Faith and Golden Goddess.

Candy Queen of Hearts is a beautiful combination of pinks and peaches. It is a baked blush featuring three colors inside heart that you can swirl together to get perfect flush. The three colors in the blush are warm toned, and can be used alone or swirled together for a different take. The baked blush starts with my favorite color; a blue toned pink that suits my skintone to perfection. A light orange based coral which looks beautiful as a highlighter and a deeper orange coral, that adds depth and definition to your cheeks.

The Goddess of Love Highlighters has  lovely, smooth texture with super fine frosty particles which do not emphasize the pores but gives that perfect glow to the skin. With this product a little goes a long way all you need is a light swipe for both cheeks. The highlighter shades are beautiful and suitable for all skin tones.

I Heart Makeup Highlighter in Goddess of Faith

I Heart Makeup Highlighter in Golden Goddess

Goddess of Faith is my favorite out of the two that I have. It is perfect for my skin tone. It is not glittery and it is such a beautiful shade, I have been using this on the top of my cheek bones and I have been loving it. The other shade I have is Golden Goddess. This shade is a little more yellow and it gives a beautiful sunkissed kind of glow. I am really impressed by my purchase and definitely recommend it to you.

Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Golden Lights Review and Swatch

Makeup Revolution is a UK based brand which is almost one year old now. They have made quite a name for themselves since their launch with their super affordable and good quality products. The product I was most eager to try was one of their Vivid Baked Highlighters as I love highlighters. The Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighters are available in three shades;Golden Lights, Pink Lights and Peach Lights. Today I will be reviewing Golden Lights as I only own this one .

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in GOLDEN LIGHTS
The packaging is very simple round compact with a clear lid but it still seems to do a pretty good job of protecting the product. For the price you really can't complain. In appearance, the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter is very similar to the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter. Both have identical texture and looks.

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in GOLDEN LIGHTS

When I first swirled my fingers over the pan, I was surprised by how rough and chalky the powder felt. I thought that it would be quite chunky to apply, however it has such a smooth, lightweight texture which picks up onto a brush, and applies easily. Due to the texture it is also quite easy to pick up too much product, so you have to be very careful not to over apply it. It can also enhance your pores and other imperfections. Color wise, 'Golden Lights' really isn't golden at all, it's very much a typical a cream/off-white highlight shade which is just beautiful, and I am very happy with it.

 Top Swatch Bottom Blended Swatch

A good thing is that it has minimal fallout. Unless you give crazy brush-swirls in the pan, you won't notice the fallout. I have used it for more than 4-5 times and the design is intact. This highlighter is insanely pigmented, as the swatch was taken using a brush with 2 or 3 swipes only.Golden Lights is a dupe for NARS Albatross. I don't own one, so can't say anything about that yet. If you own both, do let me

know your thoughts!

I would strongly recommend the Golden Lights. You can get Makeup Revolution VIVID Baked Highlighters from Just4Girls.PK for PKR 550.

PROS

Affordable
Highly Pigmented
Longlasting
Blendable
Easy to Apply
Budget Friendly
Travel Friendly
Minimal Fallout

CONS

Chalky and Chunky
Enhance pores and imperfections
Hard Surface
Can Easily be overdone

Me Me Me Flawless Pressed Face Powder in Natural Review and Swatch

Me Me Me is a UK based drugstore brand which is not very common at the moment. Today I am going to review one of their face powder which is a flawless pressed face powder.

Me Me Me Flawless Face Powder in Natural
Me Me Me flawless pressed face powder comes in a beautiful thin black packaging with a good size mirror, which makes it travel friendly.  This powder feels beautiful on the skin, it gives a great silky matte effect.  The formulation is a bit powdery, but that's  completely okay because it glides on the skin smoothly and it is easy to blend.

Me Me Me Flawless Face Powder in Natural with Sponge
I have been using it since quite a long time now, as you can see from the packaging and the quantity left in pan. I like to dust it on my face just to set my foundation and BB Cream. Sometimes I use it on its own without any foundation and it really works well on my naked skin by giving a sheer finish.  It really gives  flawless result, I found it also helped to keep my makeup fresh through out the day.

The negative point for me is the range of shades, it comes only in two shades ' Translucent ' and ' Natural '. I have one in ‘Natural’ which is a bit light for my skintone but it works and applies well on me. Another negative thing is that it comes with a sponge.....a very thin sponge, the thinnest sponge I have ever seen! seriously! It is a waste and never worked for me, I use my another powder brush for its application.
I recommend this to everyone, but most especially to those who doesn't need additional coverage.

PROS

Silky texture.
Gives matte effect.
Easy to blend.
Affordable.
Beautiful packaging.
Has a good size mirror.
Travel friendly.
No fall outs.

CONS

Useless thinnest sponge.
Only two shades in range.
Light coverage.
Availability in Pakistan.

Thank you for your time! :)

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Today I decided to review an eyeshadow palette from MUA (Makeup Academy). The palette which i choose for review is MUA's best selling Undressed eyeshadow palette. The reason why this palette is so famous because it is very affordable, it has beautiful range of shimmery to matte neutral colours and the biggest reason is that it's a dupe for high end brand Urban Decay Naked Palette. I don't have Urban Decay Naked palette so i can't compare them to show the exact difference.

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette
MUA's Undressed eyeshadow palette comes in a flimsy plastic packaging but very light in weight and due to its sleek packaging its easy to carry. It comes with a dual sided sponge applicator and has 12 round eyeshadows. The overall quality of this palette is amazing. The shadows are all named as Shade 1, Shade 2….etc which is a MUA trait.

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette

The quality of shimmery shadows are really nice, they are creamy with a buttery texture that applies and blends easily. However, the matte shadows are a bit chalky, their color pigmentation is not good and they are also a little difficult to blend. I found Shade 3 and 5 which are matte colors very difficult to swatch, even after applying several times to my wrist, there was still hardly any color on my skin. They do have some bad fall outs.

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette Swatches

The shimmery shadows are highly pigmented and they show well even without an eye primer though definitely you compromise a little on lasting power then. They stay all day on my eyes with primer, only fading a tiny bit at the end. MUA has also launched an eyeshadow palette called Undress Me Too, which also contains 12 neutral shades and that's a dupe for Urban Decay Naked Palette 2.

Undressed Eyeshadow Palette is priced at just £4 and is available at MUA's website. In Pakistan you can also get it online from just4girls.pk .

PROS

Super affordable
Highly pigmented shimmery colors
Amazing quality
Good staying power
Beautiful range of nude colors
Combination of mattes and shimmers
Travel Friendly

CONS

Flimsy packaging
Bad fall outs
Bad pigmentation of matte colors
